Nandi County Governor aspirant Henry Kosgey was on Wednesday accorded heroic welcome during his campaign trail in Lelmokwo Ward.
Residents came out in large numbers to receive Mr Kosgey who has been rankled by pollsters as the most popular candidate.
The incoming governor used the opportunity to spread the message of hope and good will.
“As residents of Ngechek and Lelmokwo we are full of joy and happiness because we have someone who understands our problems. We love you Henry Kosgey, Tuko Pamoja,” said Felistus Cherop.
Addressing a massive rally at Mutwot centre, Mr Kosgey affirmed his commitment on the youth agenda.
“ICT will be an integral part of my government. I will ensure Wi-Fi connection in major towns and centres to help the youths access opportunities online,” he said amid cheers from the crowd.
On Tuesday, Mr Kosgey who is seeking to unseat Governor Cleophas Lagat on a Jubilee Party ticket pitched tent in Tindiret Sub-County traversing the areas of Chemelil Chemase Cheswerta, Chemursoi, Kibigong, Kibiseem, Sosiot, Tambul, Chemutia and environs.
He also made a brief visit to Kapsabet Girls and Namgoi.
Kosgey moved to Chesumei Sub County where residents of Kaptoroi, Kipchabo, Kombe, Chomisia, Kipsasur, Kabaa, Kapchepkok, Tangaton, Chebilat and Kaptel welcomed him in large numbers.
